ESelectrodesManufacture of electrodes with various structures

The anodes are given a noble-metal surface coat over titanium, and the cathodes are steel or coated nickel, depending on the type of process. Anodes are of dimensionally stable type and customer-specific, where choice of catalytic coating is made on the basis of the actual process environment.

Manufacture of electrodes with various structures, in either titanium or nickel, takes place in the ultra-modern plant at Ljungaverk, which accommodate electrodes up to an area of 3 m², where each electrode is run a number of times through surface treatments and furnaces depending on the required amount of the catalytic coating.

Permascand has supplied electrodes with catalytic coatings to the chemical industry for more than 45 years and hence helped saving energy corresponding to the yearly production of one nuclear power station In Sweden
