Permascand appoints a new CCO

Permascand has appointed Nariman Askarieh as interim Global Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Nariman joins from his most recent role as Nordic Commercial Director at the global medical technology company Stryker and will assume his role on March 15, 2023.

Nariman Askarieh Askarieh holds an M. Sc. in Industrial Management and Engineering and has about twenty years of experience in leadership positions in multinational companies such as Stryker, Philips Health Systems, Ericsson, and Tetra Pak.

His experience and expertise will be important as we take the next step on our continued growth journey, where we meet the increasing demand driven by the global green transition," said CEO Peter Lundström.

Terry Powell joins Permascand as Sales Manager for North America

Permascand’s sales team is excited to welcome Terry Powell to the company and the Industrial Solutions business segment. He will be focusing on the company's expansion in the chloralkali market and and is going to be a great addition to Permascand’s growth strategy in North America.

Terry Powell is a Chemical Engineer and before joining Permascand he worked at Verantis Corporation, an engineering firm specializing in air pollution control. He began as an Applications Engineer and took on progressively more responsible roles including Technical Sales Director and most recently as the Director of Applications Engineering. He describes his latest roles as customer-facing and sales process focused.

Employee representative resigns from his position in Permascand’s Board of Directors

Emil Wiljesäter and Andreas Bergström resign from their positions as employee representative and deputy member of Permascand’s Board of Directors, respectively, due to the fact that they have been appointed to new positions within the company.

IF Metall will appoint a new employee representative.
