Committed to responsible, sustainable operations

Our ambition extends to doing the right thing in the community around our customers. To promote a more sustainable future, we are using our resources to develop innovative technologies that drive economic growth and social value, all while using fewer natural resources and less energy.

Permascand is committed to responsible, sustainable operations in terms of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact. The company is also committed to meeting the principles of the UN Global Compact, and the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI).

We believe that maintaining high ESG standards makes good business sense. Furthermore, we are convinced that responsible leadership in these areas has considerable potential to drive growth and promote development in the countries and communities where Permascand is present. All employees and management are required to be familiar with and follow all aspects of our ESG policies. The CEO is responsible to ensure that the company’s ESG policies are respected throughout the company.

Reducing environmental impact

While Permascand acknowledges that its operations have varying degrees of environmental impact, through the application of innovative technologies and techniques, we actively seek to reduce that footprint as much as possible.

Examples include improving energy efficiency at our own installations and those of our customers, reducing waste, and promoting the efficient use of resources.
